From passenger liner to Pacific wreck.

The Heian Maru was originally built to be a passenger liner and cargo ship. Just before the outbreak of WWII, the ship was armed and became a submarine depot ship. For most of the war, the ship served as a transport and cargo ship. After being struck five times with explosive ordnance on February 17-18, the ship sank in Truk Lagoon. This limited edition kit features many new guns, boats and photo-etched accessories.
