This space saving paint and tool storage unit is built to be either screwed to the wall or simply fix it to your bench within easy reach. It holds 18 paint pots securely in holes that are 36mm in diameter and 12mm deep and a variety of other useful hobby items in one place and in view. Backboard is 390mm square 12mm thick and shelves are 90mm deep.

Backboard is 390mm square 12mm thick and shelves are 90mm deep.

The unit comes in unfinished Plywood pre sanded ready for you to finish how you would like, or just use it as is. It is easily sealed with some water based polyurethane, Resenes Aqua clear is my choice or some Danish oil is also good.

It will hold most paint brands that have bottles under the 36mm diameter, see one of the pictures above illustrating this. Some paints include Tamiya, Gunze, Humbrol, Mig, Italleri, Citadel, Vallejo, Alclad, SMS.

The plastic tubes come separately for shipping purposes and is easy to glue into its groove with some cyno glue.

Proudly made in NZ, but unfortunately all the materials I could find to make it with, were made outside of NZ! Ply is sourced from responsibly managed forests and is a renewable resource, it has a hardwood veneer and a poplar core. Cutting into the ply is a little like an archeological dig, you never know what you might find as you cut into its layers, or at the bottom of the hole!
