It is essential to cut parts from the manufacturing sprue trees, as breaking them off often damages the piece you have removed. You will achieve a better finish if you cut them off, and the build process will be quicker and more enjoyable. These cutters are designed to cut close to the part without damaging it in the process. I personally would highly recommend these and have been using mine for many years.
