There are many different paint brands on the market today, most people use the brand that has the colours they need or are happiest using and this can be different for everyone. Paint is a personal choice that you will need to make yourself after trying some of the different brands, Humbrol paint is one of the oldest brands and they have an excellent range of colours we carry there enamel range, as it is my belief that enamel paints are more durable and brush better than most acrylics, even if they are a little harder to clean up than the acrylics are.
PLEASE NOTE ~ the Enamel paint has to be cleaned from brushes either with Enamel paint thinner or mineral turpentine. The Acrylic paint can be cleaned with water.
Both paints if you are spraying them through an airbrush must be thinned with the appropriate Acrylic or Enamel thinner if you need to alter the viscosity.
