While it may seem easy to paint a three dimensional miniature figure, to do it properly requires a practiced hand and some artistic techniques. Because the figure is small the shading and highlights must be emphasized to make the figure seem realistic. It is a tremendously rewarding hobby, with lots to learn and plenty of input for artistic experimentation.
