Isobel Three Masted Ship In A Bottle

This is a model of a 3 Masted Ship the Isobel, sailing past a rock lighthouse with storm clouds on the horizon. This unique Ship in bottle is beautifully constructed in the traditional style of the craft. It is a finely made model, the Isobel with all plain sails set and including a modelled blue ocean, complete with whitecaps. Modelled in a Haig Scottish Whisky bottle 8 1/4” long. These bottles are quite popular with constructors due to there triangular shape as they allow room for taller masts of some clipper style vessels and negates the need for a stand. Sky is painted on the outside of the bottle to be viewed from within.
