This is an amazing little piece, beautifully detailed and housed in a small early 1900’s age Matheson Mc Laren & Co embossed tea tin for its protection, acting like a sailors small ditty box for a precious possession. The ship is nicely detailed and possibly crafted of Teak the sails are of paper construction. See all the photo’s this is definitely a unique and interesting piece of our marine past.
Tin measures 3 1/4” 83 mm by 2 1/4” 57 mm and 1” 25mm deep.
