This is a beautifully detailed model made by the highly regarded German maker Mercator has been long out of production. SS Andrea Doria was a dedicated cruise liner, built in the 50’s for the Italian Line, was involved in a tragic collision at sea in 1956 and sank, see the Wikipedia entry below. Model is in very good used condition see the images, we have cleaned it as this collection was poorly stored by the previous owner. The mast on top of the bridge has had some damage. Approx. 175mm long or 7”
