Tuck’s paper toy books for children were made in four sections and connected on the edges as they are designed to fold out sideways. One side has four images with slots in which to place the appropriate numbered pieces, the other has two story pages and the front and back cover images.

When not in use the numbered pieces can be kept in the envelope section attached to the back cover and the book can be folded up to it’s original size.

There are 36 slots for shipping images with corresponding numbers, this copy is missing number 34 & 35 the two small planes supposedly from the aircraft carrier in the harbour entrance. It has two options for the ship that fits into the slots marked 36 and the artist was Ellis Silas, see all the images it is a very impressive display to of its era in good secound hand condition see all the images.
